Today, earning an online masters degree is relatively more affordable than before given the growing institutions offering the program. More and more people have also been attracted to programs like this given the benefits it can give a person interested in earning a masters degree but is limited by some constraints.

As cited by the United States Department of Commerce, those who have earned their masters degree can earn to more than 170 percent of those who only earned a bachelor’s degree. This is often the motivation of most of the individuals who are continuing with their masters degree.
However, the disadvantage of this set-up is that everything is done online. If a student is having a problem with his/her lessons, seeking extra attention and help can sometimes be a problem. The feedback is not immediate. Often, the student needs to learn almost everything by himself/herself by relying on the modules provided by the institution.
